James has worked in the yachting industry since 1996. In 2008 he set up McMaster Yachts as a specialist sailing yacht management company. Transparency and integrity have ensured steady growth, the vast majority of new clients coming via existing clients. Originally based in Sherborne, he opened an office in Mallorca in 2011. With the new office in Palma and due to requests from clients, McMaster Yachts now offers charter management, refit management and brokerage management, complementing our core sailing yacht management activities. James is now managing a wide range of sailing yachts from 30 to 67 metres.

Sophie has been with us since 2013 and helped establish our thriving charter department. Sophie works alongside Gemma at our Palma office running the charter side of the business. She has almost 15 years experience in the yachting industry, having worked on prestigious charter and private super yachts, and sailing to some far off destinations in that time. Sophie has a thorough understanding of the demands of charter from all perspectives: the Charterer, Owner and Crew.

Aga worked in the Sherborne office for three years before jumping at the opportunity to move to Palma. Aga is fluent in Polish and English and has quickly learned Spanish as well. She supports the yachts with special understanding of yacht classification and crew employment.

Beverley joined McMaster Yachts in September 2008 as an administrator and, over the last 7 years, has been promoted to her current position. She was previously employed as a Management Accountant within an Accountancy practice, where she gained extensive experience in many areas. These included the preparation of financial reports, payroll requirements for a variety of industries, VAT issues, as well as investigation and prevention of money laundering.
